Unfortunately, due to explosive rates in California off-road commercial insurance that have increased up to sixfold, we have reluctantly had to cease carrying passengers. This comes despite a perfect 20-year safety record with no claims. However, for now we continue to have general liability insurance and so we remain available to escort our clients in their 4-wheel drive vehicle or rental.
It’s true. Most of Anza-Borrego’s treasures lie beyond the pavement. But if you have access to 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with adequate clearance we can lead you to some of these amazing places. Your guide has the knowledge and the gear to get you there, including safety kits, extraction equipment, and satellite phone. Price is $100/hour with a 3-hour minimum. All treks include water and snacks and those of 5 or more hours include a tasty lunch to savor in a beautiful desert location. Call us to book or for more information.
