Climb aboard our special, almost sophisticated, M35A2 Troop Carrier complete with stereo sound system. Then head out under canopies of oak and pine into Western scenes of working ranches, shady country lanes and vistas bursting with open sky. Three to four wine tasting stops punctuate your travels as does an occasional local point of interest. Our first stop is the Menghini Winery with its picturesque grounds. Wander inside for a wine tasting while an exceptional barbecue of tri-tip beef and salmon or turkey is prepared outside on an open fire (vegetarian fare also available - just let us know).

Our wine-tasting tours are based out of the historic, gold rush town of Julian, California. Founded in 1869 by an unlikely citizenry of ex-confederate soldiers and freed slaves, it retains all it’s picturesque charm, shops and interesting residents today. No Walmart here!
