Sunset-to-Moonlight Dinner Excursion

Font's Point, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

Sunset-to-Moonlight Dinner Excursion: 5 Hours

$210 adults, $105 kids (Dinner)

Experience the desert by day and by night! This adventure gives you the best of both worlds: a daytime excursion followed by dinner and the enchanting light of the moon.

The fun begins with an off-road ride to Font’s Point, a spectacular overlook that we call California’s Grand Canyon, as the fading light of day casts an amber glow over the badlands. Afterwards, we’ll cross a dry lake bed and head to the remote Clark Homestead site at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

Around sunset, we’ll enjoy cheese & crackers and other light appetizers, followed by a dinner of stew and cornbread in winter. In other seasons, we’ll provide cold chicken and various sides. (Vegetarian alternatives available upon request.)

As the moon rises higher in the sky, kick back in camp chairs or take a stroll — all the while soaking in the beauty of a moonlit desert evening.

Notes:
– Dinner and iced lemon water are included.
– The tour time is the meeting, not departure, time.
